Ripbase

Terms of service

Version 1.0, 9 September 2026. These terms apply to every shop on Ripbase.

1. Who we are

Ripbase is a trade name of MoeskerGroup, Carstensdijk 77, 7916 RA Elim, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 97344567 ("Ripbase", "we"). Our current contact details are at the bottom of every page.

You are the person or company that opens a shop on Ripbase ("the shop owner", "you"). You use Ripbase for your business, not as a consumer. By opening a shop, or by asking us to open one for you, you accept these terms.

2. What Ripbase is

Ripbase is a webshop and rip & ship platform provided as a service. It includes:

  • a shop on your own Ripbase address, and on your own domain if you connect one;
  • an admin to manage products, stock, purchases, orders, customers, invoices and shipping;
  • the rip & ship features: the live queue, the overlay for streaming software, and storage of buyers' pulls;
  • hosting, security updates, backups and support by e-mail.

You decide what you sell, at what price, to whom, and under which terms. Ripbase is not a party to any sale between you and your buyers.

3. Your account

You give us a working e-mail address and keep your company details, VAT settings and shop texts accurate. You keep your password to yourself and are responsible for everything that happens under your account and the accounts of the people you invite. Tell us at once if you think an account has been compromised.

4. Trial, plans and payment

  • A new shop starts with the trial period shown on the pricing page. During the trial you can stop at any time without cost.
  • After the trial the plan you picked applies. Plans are invoiced monthly in advance, in euros, excluding VAT, by the payment method stated on the invoice.
  • You can switch plans at any time; the new price applies from the next invoice.
  • Payment provider fees on your buyers' payments are charged by the payment provider under your own contract with them, not by us.
  • If an invoice stays unpaid for fourteen days after a reminder, we may close the shop to the public until it is paid. Orders and data are kept during a closure.

5. Payments from your buyers

Payments from buyers go to a payment account that is connected to your shop. Which provider that is, and under which contract, is agreed when the shop is set up. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes with buyers are between you, your buyer and the payment provider; we help with the tools to handle them.

6. Your responsibilities towards your buyers

You are the seller. That means you:

  • sell only lawfully and only what you are allowed to sell, and hold the stock you sell or have it on order;
  • comply with consumer law: clear prices including VAT, delivery times, the right of withdrawal, warranty and your own terms of sale;
  • tell buyers clearly what rip and ship means: that a product they choose to have opened on stream is opened at their request and cannot be returned sealed, and what happens to their pulls;
  • ship, hand over or store what was paid for, within the time you promised;
  • handle your buyers' personal data lawfully and only for running your shop;
  • answer your buyers' questions yourself. Ripbase does not provide customer service to your buyers.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use Ripbase to:

  • sell counterfeit, stolen or illegal goods, or goods you do not have and do not have on order;
  • run raffles, gambling or games of chance that are not allowed under the law that applies to you;
  • send unsolicited mail, scrape other sites, or attack or overload our systems or anyone else's;
  • upload content you have no right to, or content that is unlawful, hateful or misleading;
  • resell access to Ripbase, or copy the software.

We may remove content or close a shop that breaks these rules, after a warning where a warning is reasonable.

8. Availability, maintenance and support

  • We aim to keep every shop reachable at all times. We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can, and try to schedule it outside stream hours.
  • We do not guarantee an uninterrupted service. Faults are fixed as fast as we reasonably can, faults that stop sales first.
  • Support is by e-mail, on working days, within the times stated on the pricing page for your plan.
  • We may change or retire features. A change that materially reduces what you get is announced at least thirty days ahead.

9. Your data and ours

  • Everything you and your buyers put into your shop (products, texts, images, customers, orders) is yours. You give us the right to host, copy, back up and display it as needed to run the service.
  • The Ripbase software, its design and its name are ours. You get a right to use them for as long as your shop runs, nothing more.
  • We keep backups of the platform for disaster recovery. A backup is not a substitute for your own export.
  • When your shop ends, you can export your data during thirty days. After that we delete it, except what we must keep by law.

10. Personal data

For the personal data of your buyers you are the controller and we are the processor. The data processing terms in the annex below are part of these terms. How we handle your own data as a shop owner is in our privacy policy.

11. Liability

  • We are liable for direct damage caused by a shortcoming on our side, up to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event, per year in total.
  • We are not liable for indirect damage: lost revenue, lost profit, lost data that you could have exported, or claims from your buyers.
  • These limits do not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow a limit.
  • You indemnify us against claims from third parties that arise from what you sell or how you run your shop.

12. Term and ending

  • A shop runs for a month at a time and renews until you cancel. You can cancel any month from the admin or by e-mail; the shop then closes at the end of the paid period.
  • We can end a shop with thirty days' notice. We can end it at once for a serious breach of section 6 or 7, for an invoice that is still unpaid thirty days after the shop was closed, or when we are required to by law.
  • Sections 9, 10, 11 and 14 survive the ending of a shop.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A change that materially affects you is announced at least thirty days before it takes effect, by e-mail to the address on your account. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

14. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If we cannot solve a dispute together, the court of Noord-Nederland decides.

Annex: data processing

This annex applies to personal data of your buyers and other people whose data you process in your shop ("shop data"). You are the controller; Ripbase is the processor.

  1. Subject and purpose. We process shop data only to provide Ripbase to you: hosting the shop, storing and showing orders, sending the mails your shop sends, producing labels and invoices, and giving you support. We follow your instructions as given through the admin and these terms, and no others.
  2. Categories. Names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and addresses of buyers; order and payment status; storage contents; account and login data of buyers who create an account; technical data such as the hashed session identifier used for your shop's visitor statistics.
  3. Duration. For as long as your shop runs, plus the thirty-day export period.
  4. Confidentiality. Only people who need access to run the service have it, and they are bound to confidentiality. We look at shop data only for support, to fix a fault, or when the law requires it.
  5. Security. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections, encrypted storage of secrets, access control, logging, backups, and timely security updates.
  6. Sub-processors. We use hosting, e-mail delivery and backup providers, listed in our privacy policy. We announce a new sub-processor at least thirty days ahead; you may object on reasonable grounds.
  7. Assistance. We help you respond to requests from buyers about their data, and to a data protection authority, to the extent you cannot do so yourself through the admin.
  8. Breaches. We inform you without undue delay, and at the latest within 48 hours, after we become aware of a personal data breach that concerns your shop data, with what we know at that moment.
  9. Location. Shop data is stored in the European Union. Sub-processors outside the EU are only used with a valid transfer mechanism.
  10. Ending. At the end of the shop you export your data; we then delete it as described in section 9. Backups are overwritten within their normal cycle.
  11. Audit. Once a year, on reasonable notice, you may ask us to show how we meet this annex. Where a report or certification exists, we provide that.
